We are always looking for talented, innovative individuals to be part of our great organizations – one of the largest employers in the state of WV."

CAMC provides medical and surgical services to care for patients in the Charleston area and throughout the region at four hospitals and many outpatient locations. CAMC looks forward to hosting its first Impact Fellow to make a difference in the important work at the Kanawha Coalition for Community Health Improvement (KCCHI). CAMC is a hospital partner and founding member of the KCCHI. Every three years the Coalition works with the community to determine the top health issues by conducting a county-wide health needs assessment. The KCCHI's mission is to identify and evaluate health risks and coordinate resources to measurably improve the health of the people of Kanawha County.

Call to Action for Racial Equality (CARE) is a community-driven, racial equity non-profit organization based in Charleston, West Virginia that is working towards dismantling systemic racism plaguing communities of color across West Virginia through community organizing efforts, leadership development, and policy change. Upcoming efforts and activities for 2019 include facilitating a youth racial justice club to develop young leaders, hosting West Virginia’s an annual CARE conference on racial equity, launching a new, racial justice policy campaign, and expanding our anti-racist policing model.

This position will give an employee hands-on and in-the-field experience working on campaigns for racial justice and movement building. An Office Manager will work directly with the Executive Director to support the organizational flow and efficiency. This position is best suited for a person who has a demonstrated commitment to an anti-oppression framework, is passionate about undoing institutional racism, and has a working knowledge of the local and national news and policies relating to race, mass incarceration, and police brutality. Our organization is looking for an Office Manager to be responsible for handling clerical tasks in our office. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands. In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.
