TERRADON Corporation, based near Charleston, WV, is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager with demonstrated experience and knowledge with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Wetland Delineations, Waters of the U.S. determinations, 401 & 404 Permitting, mitigation plans associated with wetland and stream disturbance, and Erosion & Sediment Design and NPDES Permitting.

TERRADON offers professional engineering services for transportation including highways, bridges and structures, and planning; land development including schools, commercial development and parks; energy including permitting, inspection and design; environmental including brownfields, testing and analysis; field services; and geotechnical analysis.

THIS JOB SPECIFICALLY REQUIRES THAT:

  • You have experience and interest in commercial real estate transactions including environmental due diligence, environmental reviews, state and federal regulatory programs, field investigations, and a general understanding of real estate lending and transactions
  • You have experience and knowledge with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Wetland Delineations, Waters of the U.S. determinations, 401 & 404 Permitting, mitigation plans associated with wetland and stream disturbance, and Erosion & Sediment Design and NPDES Permitting
  • You have experience with Phase II Subsurface Investigations and/or Remediation Work, preferred but not required
  • You have experience in evaluating environmental regulatory cases such as AST, UST, LUST, State Hazardous Wastes, CERCLIS, and NPL sites is expected, as well as a solid working knowledge of ASTM 1527-13
  • You have familiarity with wetland delineations, USACE 404 rules and waters of the US Delineation in accordance with the Army Corps Manual and Regional Supplements
  • You have a working knowledge of ArcGIS 
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, or related environmental engineering fields

AS A SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT MANAGER YOU WILL:

  • Serve as a core support role in the Environmental Department, interacting with project design professionals, project managers, and periodically accompany senior staff to client meetings as appropriate
  • Draft proposals and work plans
  • Lead document preparation in a team environment
  • Perform wetland delineations
  • Compile reports electronically for delivery to the client
  • Participate in client meetings to support the planning, design, and approval of site improvements for land development projects
  • Be in a position that includes a mix of technical writing and some field work for site visits throughout WV
  • Have periodic travel between our offices, typically 1-3 days per trip on a bi-monthly basis

Location: The position will primarily work from the corporate headquarters office in Poca, WV reporting to the Environmental Department. 

Compensation: $31,000 – $55,000
