Position Summary

Operations & Communications Coordinator at WVCAN

West Virginia Child Advocacy Network (WVCAN) is looking for an Operations and Communications Coordinator to administer the daily operations of the WVCAN office, providing reception, training and event coordination, database management, marketing support, and executive assistance.

WVCAN is the statewide leader in the fight against child abuse — we connect the community and professionals to the resources they need to ensure all children have access to safe, high-quality care. Traditionally, children are moved from agency to agency and endure multiple interviews, which creates additional trauma. A child advocacy center (CAC) turns that model upside down by providing one safe, child-friendly facility where child protection, criminal justice, and child treatment professionals work together to investigate abuse, hold offenders accountable, and help children heal. In the darkest moments, CACs help kids shine. With 21 CACs across the state, WVCAN provides help to thousands of children by promoting care that works and gives victims and those reporting a safe, effective, and trusted system.
